let’s create together
Welcome to Sakata Creative, I am a queer, LA-based photographer, production designer, and content creator. I have always been in love with the joy of creation, and I would love to help you express yourself and your creativity, and your joy.
everyone deserves to shine
To express oneself is to truly be human. It is through that creativity that we can connect with each other, and do truly amazing things. At Sakata Creative, I believe that art and expression should be available to everyone, and I want to be the one to help document that expression.
Whether that be through a one-hour portrait session, a wedding, or a protest for our very rights, I will put my all into producing the very best for you. Whatever your creative goal is, I am happy to sit down and see what the best services I can provide to you are.
I especially want to offer my services to those who feel left out by “traditional artists.” That means the BIPOC community, the LGBTQIA+ community, activists, and anyone else who just wants to get away from all the White People.

FAQs
how long have you been in photography?
My first experience with a camera was all the day back in the dark ages of the mid-2000s. I started my photography career in 2010 as a freelancer working for other photography groups. Now with over a decade of experience, I finally decided to establish myself as my own entity.
Why do you do so many different things?
At my very core, I love to create. Over the last decade and change, I’ve been involved in almost every form of entertainment services both behind and in front of the camera. I’m always curious and willing to try new things, and the more I know, the more I can offer you, the client.
do you have a studio?
At the moment I do not. Unfortunately, the reality is that Los Angeles studio property is incredibly expensive, and I simply cannot afford to rent one at the moment. But if more people like you sign up for a session, then I can prioritize getting a proper studio to create even more art.
How do I make an appointment?
All of our photography sessions are available once you click the Book Now button. If those options aren’t quite what you want, please do not hesitate to reach out to me through our Contact page.
should i bring different outfits?
At the moment, we cannot provide any additional outfits for photoshoots. Most photography sessions only require one or two outfits at most, but if you have an idea for more, we’d be happy to her it!
What about hair and makeup?
Having a dedicated Makeup Artist on hand is currently not economically feasible, plus would cut time into your session. We ask that clients have their makeup already done by the start of any session.
